rope Cardio Workouts You Can Do At HomeYou don’t have to have fancy equipment to do cardio workouts!

Here are some you can try.

STEP-UP and SKIP

You need:

  • a box (shower stool or anything stable that is around 10inches/25cm high.
  • a skipping rope

Warm up by walking on the spot for a couple of minutes.

STEP/SKIP SET
STEP - step-up leading with your left foot. Both feet on top of the box and step down leading with your left foot. Do 50 step-ups leading with your left, then 50 leading with your right.

SKIP aim for 50 fast skips (jump with both feet off the ground). You will build this up to 100skips (can be 2 sets of 50)

Aim to do 3 sets.
Keep the intensity up: moderate to high. You should be able to talk in short sentences but not be out of breath.

Of course in the skipping phases, you should not be able to talk- this is full on jump-rope.

If you haven’t done this before, you will need to build it up slowly – skip 20, short pause, skip 20.

The key is to get your heart rate up.
